I was just reading your other posts about wanting to meet new people and I feel exactly the same. I'd just love to know how to go about doing so! Does anyone have any ideas on how a mid twenties girl can meet new people and get a life that doesn't cost a blinkin fortune?!

done now for my lovely bath.... might just have a baileys to go with it, yes i know its a school night, but sometimes needs must.

i have just seen a lovely new radley purse for a tenner on ebay, and i asked my sister if she would mind getting it for me as my paypal has been cancelled due to my card being cancelled, and i said i would give her the money and she said dont worry about it!!!

so i have a brand new black radley purse winging its way to me. nice ending to a horrid day.

start my car share tomorrow, thank goodness they're driving!! as I have no money!!!

well just had my lovely bath and chatted to OH and am now in bed watching jamie oliver eating noodles, really fancy noodles now, maybe i should go on a chinese style diet..... going to go to sleep soon so that I am nice and spritely for work tomorrow. why does it feel like i haven't had a weekend, think its because all i've done is run around, not that im complaining it was nice to get out the house.

Sorry to hear you lost your purse Missy! I could never not hand in a purse if I found it, I like to have a clear conscious! Ah the Bailey's Bath, I have one of them at least once a week, only problem is I have a large Baileys and my bottle is almost gone!

Sorry about the purse Missy. Ladies am thinking about the making new mates bit. I joined a few groups which ultimately didn't work for me (imagine me in a frock and heels and lots of nervy looking men with combovers. i actually ran away!) but I did meet one fab mate and we just meet up on our own. I'll ponder this further for you. I am dead sociable and confident but my mates are all over the place and when I came home I had to make more so I could get out and have a life. X

morning, def far too early, was up at 3am and 4am, dog is poorly so its off to the vets today for us .

Well done on the purse, we have a radley outlet near us in Lincolnshire, I'm the only one in the family who hasnt had anything from there yet, although they do the most amazing ladies briefcase bags, as its still too expensive . One day.

Souk08, it's the same with me. My friends are now scattered all over the country so meeting up happens every now and again, couple of times a year. I'd love to have some friends closeby to have coffee with, share a bottle of wine, some food and a gossip, go to an exercise class, that kind of thing. It's just hard knowing where to find them without seeming like a complete billy no mates!
