Should i propose?

Hi,
My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 and a half years, we have a daughter together and another from my previous relationship.
I mentioned a few months ago that i'd like to get married one day but nothing has been mentioned since.
Like alot of people we seem to just be able to get by with no extra money for him to save up for a ring, though to be honest i would be happy with anything, but i think thats whats stopping him.

I know its not many women that propose but i'm thinking i'd like to do it. Would anyone else propose to thier man?!

I was going to propose to my boyfriend of 8 years, like you i was debating with the idea.

My boyfriend got in there before i had the chance (great minds think alike ).

I don't see anything wrong with the woman proposing, for some reason i know people that think it isn't romantic when a woman does it but i think it is more so.

I would dearly like to get married but my OH has said that under no circumstances can I propose as he has to do it but it been bloody 6 years!!

I am bored of waiting and getting excited at special events etc, we have decided where we are getting married, who will be there, colour schemes, food, entertainment and even sorted the kids to be looked after whilst on honeymoon but still nothing.
I have even told him that if he doesn't hurry up soon I will just book it and let him know when ha ha

I know that he does worry about money and getting a ring even though we could do quite a nice wedding on a small budget and loads of people have said that they would help us out.

Men eh!!!!!!!!

Reading this it could very well of been me writing it, except it has been 7 years and we have no children Our very good friends have just got engaged and that has stimulated the conversation again, I am assured that he wants to do it but isn't ready at the moment, but when he is ready he wants us to get married within about 6 months, a long engagement is not on the cards, which is fine by me as everything is already planned in my head

Oh yeah men indeed believe me!

I asked my fella ages ago and got the reply of "one day yeah" and it was like this for a while in the end I said well you have 18 months to do it otherwise this relationship is going no where. He proposed on christmas day

Either ask him to marry you or tell him that your not waiting much longer.
