Michelle, is it possible to look at an average of what your husband has earned over the last say 4 months (unless there is seasonal variation to his income?) and use that as a baseline on the SOAAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Hi Michelle and welcome, my husband and I are both self employed and I know how daunting it can be not knowing whe the next money is coming in, could you use last years account to work out an average, or have things gone down from then.Debt Free Dec 2009non-smoker 19th Nov 2010Trying to lose weight 40lb/42lb

If you don't know his average income put down the lowest it can be in a month. Your budget needs to balance every month, not just the months he has high income. If you have more outgoings than incomings some months then of course you're going to get into debt.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Leave her alone.
She has come here for help and support, not judgement and nasty comments.
There's a big hyperlinked message at the top of the forum from Martin, in case you missed it.

It's fairly simple, you fill it in, click format for MSE, then post it back here

It looks all neat and tidy and lets everyone look at where "you are going wrong" and money can be saved.0 -
Michelle - The only extra thing you'll need to do (above what Daniel mentioned above) is you'll need to remove the website address that will appear right at the bottom of the post as you won't be allowed to post links yet.
Don't worry about people seeing your information as nobody from the 'real world' will be able to identify you and we all do them on here, its the way we help each other best.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
