Hello,
Just a quick post, wondered if it would be helpful to anyone.
We been sitting on Alliance and Leicester's SVR for a while now as our LTV was too high (around 102%)for them to offer us a new deal.
I called early December and was told they were making some changes in the next few weeks and to call at the end of the month.
I call back last week and was told that in the last few weeks they have recalculated LTV which brought ours below 100% they are now also offering new deals to existing customers upto 100% LTV.
We were offered 5.49% fixed for 1.5yrs no fees or 5.99% fixed for 2.5yrs no fees
I personally didn't think this was too shabby considering the SVR is 4.99%!. I wondered if this would help anyone in a similar position to us as I don't think they are shouting it from the roof tops!
