Homemade Super Mario Birthday Party

Hi,
Please move my thread if in wrong place.

I am throwing a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend and having a super mario party theme! (Big Kid) :)

I have some ideas of what I want to do, I hope some of you know what Super Mario is!.

Gold question mark boxes, with gold coins.

Red and green caps with Mario and Luigi signs on.

Colourful cup cakes with Mario toppers.

Mario cake.

Mario themed decorations.

Last, but not least food! I only cook from scratch and I don't want a sandwich or sausage roll in sight please!

I want everything to be homemade.

We are going to have Mario kart and super mario bros on the wii to play.

There will be 30 people.

I have £115 for food, decs and a bowl of punch.

Any ideas please?

If you could find a mushroom shaped cutter, you can have Toad sandwiches :) draw little faces on with brown sauce to make the goombas (I think that's what they're called) and oooh, perhaps do them toasted :D Or make cookies and cut them out in shell shapes, feathers, flowers and star shapes. Star shaped cookies would be great :)

    Hope that helps.
