New Job & DCA's

Hi

I start a new job tomorrow (after 18 months unemployed, 9 months of it down to illness), YAYYY!!!!

It's only a 6 month temporary job tho, and I'm hesitant to let my debt collectors know, as I might not be able to get a job straight out of this one (I can hope but it's better to prepare for the worst)

What would people reccomend - not tell them, save the money and offer full and finals? Tell them and hope they'll reduce the payments if I can't get another job?

Is it temp or temp to perm?

I'd also be hesitant to letting them know: it depends on how quickly you want to be out of debt.
    Are they all with DCA's?
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

Good luck in the new job!

Sit on the money - save it - the first month or 2 in a new job usually brings some extra expenditure. As 3 of your creditors are for similar amounts, when you have enough for 1 F&F, I would be tempted to offer an F&F to the lowest bidder. Has anyone ever tried this?

there is a chance it could become permanent, but for all current intent and purposes, it's temporary

as for how quickly i want to be debt free, i'm in it for the long hall either way so.... (for example, petrol costs are going to be £140 a month, and there are no other options. the train and bus journey's are about £4 a day more.....)
