Thanks for this Mrs Lds, I rushed to Ikea this morning to get my 1p (one pence) folding chairs with my Mum. I managed to get mum 6 red chairs and I had 6 white ones, all for the pricely sum of 12 shiny pennies (normally retailing at £6.49 each). Top bargain, queues were terrible though, with 5,000 chairs going in 20 minutes !
Very pleased and after a successful trip bought my Mails at Asda, using a Quick read voucher I had left in my handbag so a nice profit on them too. Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Glad you got the chairs - nice to know somebody who does manage to get these offers. Like the majority here probably, I was unfortunately working, plus haven't got an Ikea anywhere near anyway.
It must have been manic !!:eek:0 -
Thanks the Old Bag - I had booked the day off from the office, so it was well timed and worked out quite well. I think if it had been a weekend offer it would have been alot busier.

Has anyone successfully used the woman & home voucher off shopping in Tesco when not buying the magazine?
Have been to tesco today and was told at checkout only 1 voucher per shop, I queried that and said I thought it was 10% but she stuck firm and said only one, I guess that means little & often then if I want to use up my vouchers.
on the other hand went to ASDA today & the checkout girl couldnt have been nicer I gave in about £6 for an £18 shop and said thats about it or it's taking the p***, and she said it was fine & what else had I got, so i emptied my handbag and ended up getting an £18 shop for £5 !!!
Guess I'll be shopping at asda from now on then. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -

Just to say- what a fab lot of tokens lately! I went to a new tesco express late last night to get a black pen ( emergency!) and they had lots of nice gel ones reduced- got about 10 then used 3 tokens to save £4.00 off of a £6 shop. Because the value of each one was high I think she thought it would be a lot smaller off the bill. Ha! Great stuff.0
