Do jobs get taken down from the site once filled? I'm finding jobs my partner could do but they go back a short while.

They only come io when it's filled if the employer informs the jobcentre it's been filled. And it's in the interests of the employer to inform the jobcentre otherwise they will keep getting applications and phone calls they don't need0

As far as I know its when the level of applicants reaches the level between the employer and JCP, this has a default setting of 300 but the savvy employers request to keep it much lowerThe World come on.....0

Sub limit is 299 (almost 300). This can be agreed lower. Ironically, this is almost 3 times the limit Jobcentre Plus recognises as reasonable (Decision Makers Guide #34607 states all job opportunities must be reasonable; over 100 candidates for one job position may be "unreasonable")Mr_Falling_Star wrote: »As far as I know its when the level of applicants reaches the level between the employer and JCP, this has a default setting of 300 but the savvy employers request to keep it much lower
Jobs stay on the LMS for a year but only are shown/visible until closing date. Some employers get the jobs shut early.0 -
In my experience many jobs are listed by agencies, and they do not close the jobs once filled as it is a form of free advertising.. they also get a constant stream of candidates and CV's for future roles.
JCP will spill you the line that all jobs are "real" and that they have to be approved, or listed by an approved agent, but https://www.reed.co.uk put hundreds of jobs up daily which are hosted for third party agencies over which they have no control.. and DWP does nothing to verify these jobs.
I worked as a Rec Con for 6 years, and like to think I was a good one, but many are less than good, and target driven.. "if it dont make money dont do it" so wasting valuable time doing "admin" does not happen!
By the way, for every 100 applications you make, dont expect more than an automated acknowledgement from 99.. even agencies do not acknowledge your application personally.0 -
I'm tired of applying for 'fake' jobs on the JCP website and getting nowhere. So much so that I don't even look on their site anymore.
I'm educated, enthusiastic and hard-working. I have a good CV and application letter. Of 50 jobs I applied for through the JCP website I got ONE acknowledgement. I am so angry. :mad:Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0
