We have been to centre parcs in the UK and really enjoyed our holidays so we thought about trying one of the parcs in Holland. Has anyone got any tips or advice. From a quick look on the websites it looks much cheaper than the UK.

Yes definitely much cheaper compared to the UK!

We haven't been to one in Holland but we did stay at this one in France :

At the time you could book it with Tesco clubcard deals, via Frenchlife,but not anymore

We may still return one year,using deals for Eurotunnel as we always do when visiting France

We've been to De Vossemeren which is just over the border from Holland into Belgium. We travelled Dover to Dunkirk and then it was about a 4 hour drive on the continent (quite straightforward from what I remember and plenty of service stations to stop at).

It was cheaper than UK - there were also free places on many activities. We did free bowling, kids art classes, face painting, pony rides and climbing. We also used the indoor pool every day as well as Discovery Bay (indoor adventure play area). From what I recall the organised activities have limited places so you need to book as soon as possible after arrival. The facilites are excellent and there is a good choice of restaurants (we took some of our own food too - but there is a supermarket on-site). Staff were brilliant with the kids too (our kids were 7 & 9 at the time).
