Shoes!

Any ideas where I can find interesting shoes for my wedding? None of the bridal shoes I've seen are 'me'. I love the irregular choice ones on a recent thread...but they wouldn't go with my dress.
I'm looking for mid-height heel (need to be comfortable as I expect to be on my feet all day!), dark ivory, maybe a bit vintage looking with some lace or beading (that would match in with my dress)....I saw a picture of some lovely mary-jane shape ones in lace with a ribbon tie, but can't find where they are from.
Don't want to spend much as don't think I'll get much use of them afterwards as I rarely wear light colours...but then I'd pay a bit more for the right thing (in other words...as cheap as possible, but definitely less than about £70-80!)
Thanks!

That's them!! Definitely way over budget...anyone got any second-hand!?!
I'll just need to trawl the high street/e-bay for a rip-off version!0 -
Keep an eye out on Ebay - i have seen them on these every now and then for slightly less money! Haven't seen a rip-off version (lol) anywhere tho i have to say......most high street store that do "take-offs" dont do take offs of wedding shoes unfortunately and these are specifically Bridal Shoes....but they are in fashion at the moment so try places like New Look etc maybe - especially while sales are still on!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? You have to just look around and try to look past the basic shoe i think ...you could add embellishments like an ivory flower onto each shoe etc etc to jazz them up a bit.... something like this http://www.henrykaye.co.uk/Kate-wedding-shoes then stick on something like this http://weddingmagic.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/bella-rose-ivory-flower.jpgBaldrick, does it have to be this way? For anyone else looking for shoes like these bespokebigday dot co dot uk (not allowed to post links yet!) have a similar pair called Violette - still £100, but might bring them into someones budget!!
I'm still looking for cheaper so any suggestions welcome!0 -
I was going to start a thread on shoes but decided to post on here instead. Hope it's okay to hijack!
Does anyone know where I can find a cheaper alternative to these? I'd like them in white rather than ivory, if possible (actually, what colour goes with Maggie Sottero diamond white, does anyone know?)

Hi Girls - re shoes thanks for the ideas. Can I try some of these in bridal shops then buy on internet ? How do I know what goes with the dress ? Just go with the colour maybe ? Ivory. Any help gratefully received. We got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T0

It was on the tv that pale colours are meant to be 'in' this year - so I'm hoping that there might be lots of light coloured shoes on the high street once the sales are over. At the moment all I seem to be finding is very expensive shoes I like or shoes in my price range that are either not me or not right for my dress (although it is long, it is straight so my feet will be seen)!
I thought finding a dress would be the difficult bit...didn't even think it would be hard to find shoes!0 -
i'm looking for a pair of shoes with a 1 and a half inch heel, or thereabouts. I'm finding that low heeled shoes are very uninteresting, and I much prefer something like the Irregular Choice shoes people in this thread have mentioned. Originally I had wanted to go all out on shoes, and get some Jimmy Choos or Loubotins, but the ones I like all have higher heels
Has anyone seen anything with a low heel that is still cute and/or sexy? Or should I just scrap the dress I like, and find something else?Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250
