I don't have a blank box with the word 'code' in it!

When I find an egg, it has two filled in boxes showing after clicking on it - 1 is a code similar in length to those being shared, and the other is a captcha code. This is why I'm confused! They give me a code, so why use another one? Presumably those sharing their codes are getting them from this box too?

I'm so confused by this :o I've tried using others' codes, and still no winners. Some people win with a code, others don't so the prize doesn't seem to be specific to the code

now you have confused me ;)

    Hiya

    Use this link hun
    http://www.cremeegg.co.uk/check_code.aspx
The link is on the right, "how are you goo-ing"

Had a lot of non winners and no points. The codes aren't person specific, so you might come across one that we all have had at some point. xxx
Think it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol

the reason there is already a code is because you have just found that code ( it automatically enters it in that box when you FIND one) however after you click enter for that code you can enter another one that is on here by clicking the option that is given on the right hand side of page to enter a new code ( it opens up a window showing all the eggs you have won so far) you then have to click again at right hand side where it says enter a code then when that opens pop your code in then capcha then hopefully hey presto. hope this makes sense and i dont sound even more confusing :o

    good luck:A

Okay here goes, this is what I do, There are two scenarios....

    Scenario 1/
I am on a site, I spot an egg, I click on it and it takes me to the cadbury comp.
Cadbury have kindly already printed the code from the egg in the top box, beneath this there is a security number, under this is the box which I copy the security number into, then I click enter. JOB DONE.

    Scenario 2/
If I get a code from one of our lovely forum peeps I copy it ( I prefer to copy and paste, but you can just write it down)
I go back to the 1st post where Youngski kindly put a comp clicky for us. I click this it takes me straight to the cadbury comp I click on PLAY NOW, then ENTER YOUR CODE, click the top box which has on it CODE, the word will disappear allowing you to either type in or paste the code the forum has given you. Then go to the bottom box and type in the security number in the middle. JOB DONE

    :DSimpls:D

Remember, once you have won an instant prize you will not win another, the comp states only one instant win per entrant.
The rest of the points qualify you to be entered into weekly draw, then the more points you enter the better your chance of winning the big prize at the end.

I think it's pot bliddy luck on whether you get points or not, it all depends on just how long your brain can stand just putting in codes, and taking the 0 points on the chin.

You wont win any of the other small prizes but you will be entered into the weekly draw, the more points you get the bigger your chance of winning the big prize at the end. Like buying raffle tickets, the more you buy the bigger the chance of winning.

OMG! Thank you so much for the link Kittycat. Don't know why I never saw that before :rotfl::rotfl:

Its all become clear now :o

Thanks also for clarifying Scottishmickey and Grebe.

Feel like such a numpty now. I am the only one who didn't understand, which makes me pretty dim considering this comp was probably devised for teenagers!!!

Trawling through the codes now, bumped my points up but no wins so far.

Just realised also that I should have shared the codes I found! Now I've got the gist of it, I'll post up any more I come across :D

BTW, anyone found any on any other sites? I'm sick to death of MSN!
