I Have An Interview For A New Job Tommorrow And Am Wondering How To Answer If They Ask Why I Want To Leave My Cueent Employer.

I Have Only Just Qualified And Have Just Rec'd A Promotion With Current Employers, But My Manager And The Company As A Whole Have Just Become Too Much For Me With The Constant Pressure And !!!!!iness.

How Do I Answer If They Ask Without Sounsing Like I Am Bad Mouthing The Company?

Any Suggestions Gratefully Rec'd!!
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

Lack of development opportunities, no clear career path, no challenges left, convenience (if the new job has less travel to the office and doesnt involve frequent travel), want to work for a bigger/ smaller company (as appropriate)

I'm Going To Go For No Clear Career Development And Wanting To Work For A Bigger Company - Other Than That I Thought -

'' My Boss Is A B***h And I Can't Stand Working With Her Or The B****d's At Head Office Any Longer!! ''

    I Prefer Your Suggestion Though!!

Joking aside, even if people put I dont get on with my manager/ senior management politely it will rarely go down well. Recruitment is a very expensive business and a big warning flag is someone who says they cannot over come personal difference and remain professional.

Def go for new challenges and opportunities as you said. Avoid saying anything bad about current employer - I have interviewed many people and this is always a turn off. A good tip is to have your 30 ish word statement about yourself ready. This gives you something to say when they ask why they should employ you. It's a positive statement about your strengths and ambitions (not to sound too rehearsed if possible). Good luck with interview, go into it thinking they will want to employ you and you will want to accept.
