Hi there folks
Well ahve finally seen the light after my last shopping trip cost £100 to feed 2 adults a 2 year old and a 3 month old and 2 dogs. The only thing is half the stuff went off before I could use it so this really got me mad and have decided to try the old style way.
Have just done a menu planner for next week using whats in the house (other half is such a nightmare to cook for as he doesnt eat pasta or baked potaotes or mince, well anything cheap to make) although he would just say I will have a crisp sarnie which I dont want.
Have started to clean all my rooms one each day as we moved in last year but we still ahve stuf fin cases and boxes.
Any tips on what or where to start.
I am sure I will post again very soon when am stuck in a rut ready to give up.

What is it about mince he doesn't like? I hate the texture of meat mince (it makes me gag), but love soya mince (tvp) which is much cheaper *and* it's healthier - you could try that??
MY OH used to turn his nose up at chilli, anything with lentils, stuffed peppers - and now he eats it. Develop a 'like it or lump it' attitude and he might just start eating - you could always make sure there is something on the plate he will eat, like have a baked potato with ham salad or chicken drumsticks, lasagne with chips and salad - that kind of thing. Try making mince-y dishes with no meat - so veggie spag bol (oops, he doesn't like pasta...) or chilli, or shepherds pie, using tinned tomatoes with pulses (lentils, chickpeas etc) or vegetables for the sauce.0 -
Does he hate mince as mince but might eat it as burgers or meatballs or sausages? Would a different type of pasta be an option? (I don't know why but I'm never keen on spaghetti but will eat other shapes?) Woudl eh eat stuffed potato skins or wedges or a mash nest instead of just a jacket potato?
Good luck & don't hesitate to come back when you need us:D We love a new believer:T:rotfl:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
