how many bottles of wine/water/juice to a table of 6?

just been looking at some venues on line that sell the drinks by the bottle how many bottles would you need for 6 people ?

It depends on whether you are providing all the drink or whether there's a bar and you're just providing a drink to go with a meal.
Half a bottle of wine each (two glasses each) and water on the table would be about right but I'd probably go with four bottles, two red & two white to cover a full sit down meal.
This is going on the bottles being left on the table for them to help themselves.

Our venue workes out at half bottle per person plus jug of water per table, so I'd go 3 wine, jug of water for adults, but if there are kids on the table then 2 wine, Jug of Juice, Jug of water!
