Really miffed about this, moved a little table (top heavy table) and it fell onto the tv stand, which in turn decided to break into little bits.
Stand no good now as requires middle shelf to pack rear section out & support top shelf.
Old tv stand was - £139.99 (similar to below)

No chance in replacing shelf.
Any ideas.

A nice picture.
Clearing room out for removal men to come in on monday morning, trying to push all junk to the door & sort it. Dolphin table in the background fell over.
Not nice.
Over £150 wasted.

Have a look at your contents insurance, accidental damage would cover this.0

Not covered for accidental damage on the house insurance.
2 times now that we could of claimed for damage caused by ourselves.
1, Laptop
2, Tv Stand
There is one in the local paper for £40, in Argos for £119.
Waiting for him to text back with a lower offer0 -
When did you damage the laptop? It's just that accidental damage is often included in contents insurance for electricals - you do not have to have to extensions. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Im pretty sure we opted out of the accidental damage.
Contents cover was only needed for 7 weeks, so we went for the basic cover.0 -
morrisons had some for £39.99, not same shaper, more square i think but they were black, might be worth a look0

Following favourable comments on this site I purchased from standland . co. uk
Very good price, very quick delivery and can't fault the product.

TV stands have almost no 2nd hand resale value, consequently they go for pennies on ebay.
Obviously shipping is the expensive bit, so find someone selling nearby & organise collection.0
