Making money from YouTube

Hi,
I'm not entirely sure this is the correct forum to post this on but I'm sure that all DFWs, like me, would be interested on a possible extra form of income.
About 3 years ago I uploaded a video to YouTube. This video has gradually built a following amongst the YouTube community such that it's currently getting around 6000 hits a day (surprising, considering there is absolutely no !!!!!! involved! :rotfl:). Anyway, this interest in the video prompted YouTube to invite me to become part of their Adsense programme. This means that there are now Ads displayed alongside and at the bottom of my video when people watch it. If people view or click on these Ads then that generates income for YouTube and for me (BTW, you are NOT allowed to click these Ads yourself). I initially thought this would just be pennies for me, but the Adsense service allows you to monitor your estimated earnings and for me that's currently averaging over £3/day.
You get paid the month following any month where your earnings exceed £60 (having said that, December just gone was the first month that was the case (I joined mid-November), so I've yet to receive my first actual payment). I was required to verify my Home Telephone Number (they give you a call), Bank Account (they deposit a small amount and you enter that amount) and Home Address (they send a card with PIN which you need to enter) to remove the Payment Stops on my account. Of course, this counts as an additional income and is taxable (something I'll need to sort out with my local Tax Office once the money actually starts coming in), but as Tesco likes to say, every little helps
.
Note the deliberate omission of any details of said video because I'm not sure about the rules on promoting the places where these Ads are shown (just erring on the careful side).
