Stuff for running

Thanks again, yes my husband would agree that I just need to get out & do it! Except that I deffo need new shoes, my gym trainers which were pretty decent 4-5 years ago are probably only good for the wii fit now! And I'm still carrying loads of baby weight so I really need good support for my knees etc. Have found an up & running in my nearest town so will look there. And then see if I have any money left for clothes or if I should just raid my old maternity leggings (and hope they don't fall down lol).
Thanks again for all your replies :-)1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Hi Liz-Paul, get to a proper running shop for your shoes - make sure the shop lets you try them on and run up and down the shop in them (or even better outside).
When you start running more seriously you can get the rest of the kit you need. For now, leggings/shorts and a t-shirt should be fine. If you have an ALDI anywhere near you try their kit it's cheap and good enough quality (even Runners World rate it). They only do running stuff every two or three months, but look for Crane Sports stuff elsewhere (it's the Aldi kit).
If you find you get chafing/rubbing anywhere try vaseline - it works but it does stain as well so be careful what you wear on the areas you have treated.
Most of all go out and enjoy yourself :-)0 -
