Digital Ordnance Survey maps for printing

Figured it was time to stop lurking and actually post, so here goes... especially relevant for ramblers and whatnot.
The outdoors website grough has just cut the price (after I paid full price ) for its online mapping thingy, because of some kind of government consultation that means it might all be free later this year anyway.
Long story short, you can print proper A4 hi-res maps of anywhere in the UK with a £1.50 per month subscription, and plan/search routes etc. Maps include OS 1:25K Explorer and 1:50K Landranger.
Works out cheaper than buying a single paper map, and by the sounds of things the whole thing will be free in April. Much much much cheaper than buying digital maps by region for memory-map/anquet etc.
Can't post a link because I'm new (sorry, copy & paste?), but details are at grough.co.uk/route/, and info on the govt masterplan for OS on freeourdata.org.uk

You should have received an email detailing what will happen when the consultation results are known.
grough has pledged to refund a proportionate amount to all existing subscribers once this is known, so they will be put on a par with new subscribers at the £1.50 monthly rate. We've also given existing subscribers to grough route access to aerial imaging as a free bonus in the meantime.
So, at the moment, it's £1.50 a month; we'll review the situation when the OS-Government consultation results are out, hopefully in April.
Hope this helps.
