How long will a re-mortgage take??

We need to remortgage does anyone have a rough idea as to how long it will take if we stay with our existing lender??

You need to confirm who your lender is.
A remortgage actually involves changing lender and I'd expect to take between 2-8 weeks. Changing product with your existing lender should be relatively fast.
When I worked for Halifax it took about 5 minutes. I suspect with mortgage regulation etc these days it probably takes nearer an hour now!0 -

Basically our fixed rate has ended on current deal with the Woolwich, and we are looking to increase mortgage to £55,000 from £20,000, thought that would be classed as a re-mortgage, never mind what it's called though. Do you know how long it would take for the funds to become available? (assuming we were accepted of course!)It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice!!0
