I work in a supermarket, and have been told different things about what we are due and that is from union rep+ boss.
Will try and keep it short.
We got Xmas day off and volunteer's worked boxing day, which is my day off anyway, Was told that I would get a day off for it as it was my day off. Then told that was wrong But would get paid for it well part payment.
Then told Monday is a holiday would get a day off for it.
Then told that was wrong, In Scotland by the way.
So what do you think

What does your contract say0

i think you need to ask your Human Resource Department because all businesses are differant and due to lack of information provided by yourself there is no chance
Plus I really doubt your union would know!Always ask ACAS0 -
if its your normal day off you shouldnt rally be paid butReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

Monday is a Bank Holiday in Scotland. HOWEVER there is no legal right to Bank Holidays off work so no pay in lieu is due unless it is stipulated in your contract of employment.0
