I need a bit of sandal advice, which of the following would be the best/most useful?

    http://www.shoe-shop.com/products/Sandals/Fly-Flot/Frankie/invt/ss26407 in khaki

    http://www.shoe-shop.com/products/Sandals/Pavers-Comfort/Mildred/invt/pav32056Pew in pewter

And these boots? Good price, to get ready for winter..as I never did get any boots last year. http://search.shoe-shop.com/search/sitesearch.aspx?s=SSNAP805+

What do you want the sandals for? I prefer the pewter ones. Khaki is a bleugh colour. Up to you.

Suppose it depends on if you have an outfit style in mind to wear them with.

Boots look good. Grab them now while they are cheap. ;)

Apart from a food shop and a trip to the post office, i have done nothing today.

Thank you cha, both for your advice and for telling me you have not got much done today either! Makes me feel a little bit better - I am really stiff from the gym now:o.

I have no sandals at all now due to a massive cull at the end of last year - all mine were well past there sell by date-falling apart bogging as my niece would say:o. I want to get a few comfortable pairs that will last me for a few years.

I am going to cull my clothes this week to, everything that is a size 26:o will be going on eBay and everything else will be ruthlessly sorted, I am keeping items just for the sake of it, I probably have three tops that fit, loads of sweat pants:o and not a lot else that is of any use to me:eek: I am reluctant to buy much as I hope to continue to lose weight, but shoes/boots/sandals should be ok, I would like a small amount of good quality clothes eventually..if I buy classics I should be ok! I am fed up of wearing the same things time after time and still looking carp!
Not very MSE but it would be nice to look good for my lovely hubby (I wonder if he will notice:rotfl:) I should put aside any ebay money and spend it on clothes and accessories for me:money:

Actually, I prefer the khaki ones :o. Silver sandals should only be worn on the beach with a sun tan. Boots are nice & v good price, treat yourself :T

You should buy some new clothes too - even if just Primarni ;) at a few quid, having clothes which fit will show off the fact you have lost weight and give your morale a boost. You're worth it :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Can you walk into the spare room? If so, it's tidier than mine! :rotfl:
Steam is hard to find atm but it will come back.

Treat yourself to an outfit hun :) perhaps some nice trousers and three tops to go with it? and of course some jewerelly to jazz it up. Some classic pieces sound lovely and you can always take them in

I live and die in my fit flops from Boots. They were £32 a few summers ago but they are so comfy, and come in quite a few colours. I figured better to spend more on a pair that lasted a few years than a few quid on some for that summer. They come in lots of colours/styles nowadays.

Primarni is a bit of a weird one. I have found that i can't get clothes from there that fit me. I have never noticed larger sizes in there. I am only a 16. The last clothes i bought for myself in there were some shirts for work, and the buttons were so low it was indecent so i took them back. I much prefer Mr T and George for cheap and cheerful fashion.

I'm no use at making decisions... I like both but the Khaki ones are adjustable so may fit better if you are anything like me and have a high instep. I love the boots... If they'd had size 8 I may well have been tempted myself! :D

I'm needing to sort out my clothes too... My wardrobe currently spans at least 4 clothes sizes! :rotfl: My size 28 stuff is now way too big, size 26 is getting increasingly roomy now and I'm beginning to fit into my 24s. I'm currently wearing all the stuff I like (but don't wear to work much as it is usually too dressy and I don't want to ruin it) before it all stops fitting me anymore. :p

I did have to buy some new joggers though as mine fell down several times last week (at home thank god!) doing my exercise DVDs / Pilates! :rotfl: Bought some 2 sizes smaller! :j

I desperately need to get some new T shirts too as my current ones (26/28) mostly now have to be worn with a vest top on underneath or risk flashing the world way too much boob! :rotfl: Today I'm wearing a 22/24 top I haven't fitted into for 5 years! :j

I'm hoping to only buy as few clothes as I can get away with as I continue (hopefully!) to loose. eg trousers with belt loops (to allow me to wear them for longer), cheap jeans and tops that have ties to still give me a bit of shape under the boobs/ at the waist even if they become a bit big and some cheap tshirts / jumpers/cardis and try to jazz it up a bit with jewellery and shoes.

In support of the illustrious thread leader TPA, for anyone looking for new clothes there is a code at the moment for 500 points (£20 in deals) on Tesco clothes orders (enter CC-JULY500) when you spend £30. There is loads of stuff in the sale - if you're planning to outshrink it quickly you could get a pretty decent lot of basics for £30.
