Happy St Patrick's day the the Irish amongst us!

My Dad's half Irish and I'm always surprised that he doesn't use today as an excuse to get drunk and have the day off work!

Yeah, I kind of noticed a theme once you reviewed Loose Women! Way to advertise the fact that you're not working at the minute! LOL! ;)

What's really worrying is that you know all of the theme tunes to bad 90s kids tv shows! Maybe it's time you leave the house....

Oi! I used to watch half of Loose Women on my lunch break at work! :o
I Google the theme tunes lyrics for your information! But yeah ok, i do know them off by heart
I enjoyed the SVH review, I used to love those books and sort of expected my teenage years to be just like that - pah!

Thank you :D I know, i got 17 comments on that review, didnt really expect it as noone i know used to watch it.
    Happy Paddys Day!

Happy Paddys Day! My OH rang me before work and told me off for not wishing him a Happy Paddys Day! He said i have to have a sip of Guniess to make up for it, i told him not to pin his hopes on that one, yuck!

Not Irish Tete (obviously, ha) but did you notice Martin hasn't got his St. Patrick's day banner today! They do it for every other celebratory day! Where do I complain???

My OH is Irish, he moved here when he was 5 so speaks like me, except for the odd word that comes out as a mix between the two accents :rotfl:

Oh Babysitters Club! I used to have a couple of those books too! Quality!! :D

I'm a bit like that TBH. My accent is really confused, I was raised in North Yorkshire and went to a 'nice' primary school where I learnt how to speak without too much of a northern accent (like the other kids at my secondry school who dropped their vowels all the time!) but I have geordie parents so when I get cross, or oddly when I'm impersonating a man, I have a geordie accent! OH and his friends all try to make me cross because they find my accent so funny! :o

Oooh and my Irish Grandad was a mix between Irish and Geordie! Bless him, he was often 'a little tipsy' so he was even more difficult to understand!
