I just ordered 2 heated eyelash curlers which are reduced to 7.49 from £15 ,i then got the gwp added ,it wouldnt let me use the £5 code on this so i added some facial wipes £6.75 (which i use anyway ) it then let me use the £5 code .So total order £16.74 and got free gift .

chances are she had a staff discount card, monday and tuesday was double staff discount which works out much better vavlue that the christmas points events

Sorry NEH...huge apologies as I wasn't clear that I did actually mean possibly misinformation from Boots when I phoned up as not sure I actually spoke to anyone on the shop floor who actaully went and checked the shelf edge IYKWIM. Haven't read rest of thread yet...just got to your post and curled up in embarrassment so not sure if any other ref to my misleading comment.Fingers crossed not as so grateful to all info people post and as a result am rapidly becoming a booster (you know everytime I go to write this I'm not sure I'm getting the word right:D)

Was in local Boots this morning - still displaying 3 for two on No7 stand and the free gift with purchase one - they honoured it and took £5 voucher, I got three protect and perfect serums for £36. BUT.....SA wouldn't give me the GWP as she stated I could only have one deal not both.
I've emailed boots about this and hope they might let me collect the free gift later.

I wouldn't say it's a NO outright because some managers at Boots will go that extra mile for you, if you are sweet and ask nicely. I have had them do me little favors before when really they didn't have to according to store policy.

Wish they had double the differnce policy like Tesco. Boots today have put up the No 7 Bathing stuff on the till but left the old prices on the shelf edge. Also have the stuff with the 3 fo 2 on indulgent bathing which doesn't work and you can't get the bag free.
