Snowys are the term we're using for the £5 off NO7 and R&M cosmetics vouchers you get from Boots, when you spend at least £5 in one transaction there.

Some of Boots vouchers you can use online, these ones you can't (they have no online code on them).

thanks for that. i thought I'd read on here that there were these £5 off vouchers but there was no adverts up in the Boots I went into so i didn't want to risk spending over £5 on something and then not getting a "snowy". See i'm learning!!!!

I didn't get a voucher when I topped up today, but my husband did the last time he topped up. The receipt doesn't mention it so I'm assuming the SA wasn't supposed to give one.

I used snowies off the nail file/buffer set (£6) and the moisturising gloves (£6) in Uxbridge Chimes store today. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for either item but they are worth the £1 each that I paid. The SA refused to swipe my advantage card though! I just added the points at another store instead.

How can she refuse to swipe your advantage card? You get points for every pound that you spend or am I missing something here?

Nope, you're not missing the point at all - but some SA's are right dragons who can't be doing with seeing anyone getting a good deal .
