Help! Bank opening hours next few days
Options
Does anyone know whether the banks will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 2nd Jan)?
I urgently need to pay some money in and Monday (which might also be a bank hol) will be too late.
My bank is Alliance & Leicester (Bath Street, Glasgow).
Thank you, thank you, thank you if anyone can help!

2nd of Jan is a bank holiday in Scotland but some banks do not take it so might be confusing with it being on a weekend.
It will vary amongst banks, but those who do not open on Sats seem to be off till Tues. Some open Sat are opening Monday- others who are taking English open as normal.
Best to go down to the branch and have a look at what they have in the window.0 -
Thanks guys :T
I knew the 2nd was a Scottish bank hol but didn't know what the script would be with it falling on a Saturday. My online service says transactions are going through on the 4th, so I'll be well annoyed if the branch itself is closed on that day.
Was planning to trek in tomorrow anyway - cheers again."Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together." -Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Monday is a bank holiday in Scotland although some individual branches may be open for limited hours, most likely the main ones.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Don't know if this will be of much help but I bank with both BOS and RBS.
I was expecting a payment on Monday/Tuesday and payment was paid into my BOS on Thursday.
A payment I'm expecting on Tuesday has not yet hit my RBS account though my DD's have been debited with Monday's date.
