Trafford Centre tomorrow......

I'm thinking of making a trip to the Trafford Centre in Manchester tomorrow, but I was wondering if it would be too busy still? I intend to get there first thing, and probably leave for about 12noon.

It'll be busy!! I drive past regularly and every day since Boxing Day so far there have been queues out on to the motorway - can only recommend getting there as early as you can! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

It has been really busy since christmas but was a bit quieter yesterday when I went. I would advise get there for about 9.30ish (shops open 10am I think) you should have no problem parking at this time and you will be leaving round about the time it starts to get really busy.0 -
I was travelling clockwise on the M60 past the temple of shopping on Tuesday morning and the queue was truly horrendous...right up past Worsley and beyond.
I guess it will have improved by now as people realise what a bland, banal and truly soul destroying past time sales shopping is.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
we went past twice this week and the queues on the motorway were ridiculous, why people cant drive down to the next junction and come off there is beyond me:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

Its hard to say... I know people who went boxing day and it wasnt too bad, busy but not mad.
I went tuesday and it was MAD, people parked all over the place on every roundabout all over the grass etc.
You would have thought boxing day would have been busier than tuesday.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥0 -
Thanks for everyone's replies. What I think I'll do is go to Manchester city centre on the bus tomorrow, and go to the Trafford Centre on Monday when a lot of people will be back at work/school/college, then it's back to work for me on Tuesday!0

I always think the secret is get there as early as you can. Also a tip I have found is to park over at Barton Square (home section) and walk over the bridge by Boots. Always quiet over that side....
Enjoy if you go
