Going to spend some time this weekend really examining all my expenditure - phone, utility bills etc. I'm sure there are things drip drip dripping out of my account that make all the difference. Also going to make a monthly plan of what leaves my account and when. I know this will make me feel calmer.

Read MG's blog earlier - I just did the purse thing - my purse is lovely and light (hah!!) now. Will have a go at the other exercises this weekend.

Eaten 3 cupcakes now - whoops -not sure how that happened!!

Facebook was down tonight, and I got so much more done. I know it sounds silly, but I spend SO much time on there that I could be making extra money in/cleaning my house/ doing school work that I think it was a big eye opener that fb will have to go!

I am right there with you over the fb time :o

Good luck with the backpacks, I really do hope they turn up. DS had his trainers pinched from school on Weds (he had only had them since start of term, had bought them himself with his paper round money). He was gutted, I couldn't be cross with him, but I was narked because I would have to replace them this weekend. Came home last night to an answerphone message from the school secretary to say that the matter had been "dealt with" and that DS could collect his trainers today. So, don't write off your backpacks just yet x

MGs challenges are fab, but do involve some soul searching - be prepared for tears, but embrace them as part of the positive future that lays ahead of you.

good luck with the date. That is something I still have to do but it bloomin terrifies me!

    Have a good day xxx

No, nothing yet - will try again on monday.

Hoping for a good sleep tonight - not been sleeping well recently, even when I switch off and just hand over all the financial problems etc.

Got in a bit of a down mood earlier when I thought I might not be able to go on the date (lol, tantrum at my age!!) but have swapped babysitting duties with a friend, so she's having mine tomorrow day and I'm having her son tomorrow night and sunday morning so she can go out - result!! :D AND free! Even better of course. I couldn't have paid for a sitter, wouldn't have anyway.

I feel a lot better for being back on here! I say that EVERY time I'm off for a while :)

Off to attempt to catch up with some diaries.
