Cheers CMD - don't worry I'll keep popping over to the DFW thread to keep up with your progress!
Things done today:
- Listed handful of books on Amazon - all 0.01 prices (boo) but every little helps!
- Sorted half the back room out and now have a pile of items in the front room ready to go in the local paper for sale. Will sort and list these tomorrow.
- Boxed up Xmas decs and taken them to the folks for storage in their loft
- Got things ready for work... can't believe I have to go back tomorrow after a week and bit off! Seems like ages since I was there but luckily I have another long weekend coming (booked Fri off - bit of a yearly tradition to ease me back into the New Year!)
Downside is tailgate struts on my car aren't working properly in the cold so the boot whacked DH on the head today, so need to get them fixed this week.
Things to do tomorrow:
- Lunch: spag bol from freezer (batch-cooking from beg-Dec)
- Tailgate struts!
- List items in paper
Nite nite everyone xxx

and Good Luck with your MF journey. Make sure you keep back some emergency savings when you do pay of your mortgage.
Best Wishes

Well I haven't been on here for a little while as no sooner than I plan to become MFW, I find out I'm pregnant!!! So I've been holding off a little on this thread and been trying to get my head round having my first baby! All very exciting, but scary at the same time. I'm 22wks in, so currently starting to buy all the baby bits; fortunately I've managed to get plenty of bits and pieces from family and friends which has thankfully kept the cost down.
So I will come back to the MFW family as soon as I can, but have had to slightly move my priorities around for now.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind last few months, only have 2 weeks left till my baby's due date - no sign of an appearance yet. However I have managed to overpay on my mortgage the last few months and plan to continue to do so even when bump arrives.
I've also managed to put some savings aside in an emergency fund too, which should help whilst I'm on ML.
So I've re-adjusted my target for this year, and whilst it's started slowly I'm hoping to keep it going on a regular basis.

Well I had baby Lucas on 30th Sept and he's absolutely gorgeous.
Also have decided to put the money I was using to overpay the mortgage into a savings account instead for the next few months - that way I can ensure I can stay off work for the full 12 months by using the saved cash to pay the bills etc. when my salary drops and then when I go back to work put whatever is left straight onto the mortgage.
