Went today and they still had their gifts priced at 50% but going through till at 75% off. Hope that helps

no alcholol stuff in oldbury sainsbury but had got some of the kids insect kits and gardening sets 75% off if helps anyone...

I went to sainsburys enfield yesterday and bought quite a fewof the sets,dove, lynx , loreal men and king of shaves.. Wasn't much else left compared to last year when i managed to get loads of jamie oliver bits!

London Colney was rubbish they had hardly anything.

I went to my secret sainburys that I don't tell people about to much as they reduce to clear is normally very good.

Managed to get a 6ft tree for £6.25 and a couple of pressies not much else left.

And yes some of the stuff on the shelves was still marked as half price but went through at 75% off.

People never learn. Sainsburys always mark down most stuff to 75% off just before new year.

Just a heads up for those in my local area: Edinburgh's Cameron Toll (Savacentre) was shut yesterday, so this is their Sainsbury's 1st 75% off day.

I'm not long back from there and they have a fair bit of stock, and it wasn't very busy either. Loads of selection boxes for around 79p, lots of biscuit selections at 75% off, some 'posh' crisps at 75% off. The Roses, Celebrations and Quality street large tins are at £2.50, but the roses & celebration ones are piled up at the end of the juice aisle, next to the freezers and not in with other gifts.

Toys... there were a few bargains, mainly to be found on the shelf ends, not in an aisle.

Christmas Decs ... same as above.

Christmas cards are to be found where the Health & Beauty special offers usually are.

All the makeup/king of shaves/bubble baths etc were IN the health & beauty aisles, mainly opposite the toothpaste. I found a King of Shaves set with a razor and some shave gel for £1.25!

In the aisle where you find clingfilm, there's Christmas table decorations at 50% - 75% off.
