Oooh, like this board - really like reading everyone else's posts and also makes me realise how the little things really do make a difference!

    Today -

Checked online banking and got a clear picture of how the year is starting.
    Transferred £7.47 into VSP
    Free Scratchcard (10p)
Found a book at back of cupboard to use for spending diary - love making myself write everything down as it really makes me not want to spend anything!
Making a January meal planner at the moment

Having not the best time at the moment so these small positives really help.

Happy New Year to all! x

No going to McD's for breakfast after my last shift. (1st time ever!)
Write out time sheets for the extra shifts I'm doing, so I don't keep thinking have I completed & handed them in.

Not going to do too much today as I worked last night & I'm so tired & back tomorrow on a 13 hour shift.

  • Hello everyone, lots of new small thingers and some regulars today!
A quiet day here, needed milk so not a NSD but not much out and budgeted for
Aimong for a tv bonaza tonight of Dr Who and Gavin & Stacey so will be at home. It's a bit chilly here though so will be snuggling up in one room with whole family to make most of heating in there. Need to venture into kitchen soon and that room is FREEZING!
Not really a reguar day but have checked bank and sliced off odd 'p's' into virtual sealed pot. I find when I'm being particularly careful with real money I have less to put into my real sealed pot.
Am going to try not to shop till next week and use up all bits we have - may need to buy the odd veg or something to make it edible.
Have a good rest of the day - enjoy whatever you are doing and keep warm!
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
