YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm off to Ikea tomorrow to pick up my 6 x 1p folding chairs as per my post above, the store opens at 10am and it is limited to a maximum of 6 per customer so hopefully I should get some (fingers crossed)

I looked through three Observers and there was definitely no voucher, just the card. Must be a regional thing - shame!

The IKEA near my home - all of half a mile away - is just a distribution centre.

Hi CGG, hubby was just saying though that I will have to queue up early to get these and chances are they will have no stock left, however, ever the positive thinker I am hopeful of success.

Shame you cannot get any - never been to Ikea so looking forward to a trip to get the chairs and some cat toys for my new kittens.

Have you checked that there are ANY in stock at your branch?
When I checked for my local store (after the last match - the DRAW) - they only had red ones in stock.
No white ones at all and of course the black ones are not included in the offer.

Just checked and now BOTH colours are currently in stock - doesn't say how many but at least some.

As for yourself there might be a problem .....

Thanks quoia, yes I did check the stock at Ikea Cardiff it said both were in stock but as you rightly say they cannot display an accurate stock reading for my store.

However, ever the positive thinker I am sure they will have lots there !

Yes positive thinking and being early all helped - I am now the proud owner of 6 x 1p chairs in white, my mother who I am teaching in the money saving ways, bagged 6 x red folding chairs.

RESULT !!! very pleased and it felt great handing over 6 shiny pennies for my chairs. Welshy x

Apparently 5,000 chairs were grabbed in 20 minutes !! My new kitty's are loving the Ikea cat toys, so one happy Welshy and 2 contented kittens !

Crabman, nearly I would say ! because when I was handed my 6 chairs, I turned around carrying all 6 of them and nearly accidentally bashed a few people with them, (because they were quite heavy and bulky and they would not move out of my way) as they would have possibly lost their place in the queue. In the end staff cleared a pathway for me to get out, because otherwise I may still be there :rolleyes:
