  • My room is like a jumble sale right now... packaging stuff covering the floor, labels everywhere, stuff all over the bed, several black sacks of things to list (or that I've already listed and are due to end tonight). Such a tip :o

I have a few items ending tonight from the free listing days - two have bidders (one is up to £14 :j) and all of the others have several watchers so I am praying that people bid. I listed them at decent amounts so even if I only get one bid, I'll be pleased.

ps: we've just had a chicken roast with all the trimmings. I'm so stuffed I can't move... will have to give it an hour or so before I do anything strenuous like packaging things up :rotfl:

Have managed a final £98.00 today so that really is close of total for Feb £1102 which l am stunned about but everyone knows about as it is taking over my every waking moment and all the spare space.
March is a bit of an unknown as far as sales go but we can only see how it goes.
Well done MRSCMR 300 items!!! l can just about manage 30 without sending them to the wrong addresses:D

Today's dinner was cheap for me because OH bought it.

We have separate bank accounts and finances, I have more debt than him, he has his own credit cards which he only owes about £3k on but he also has 2 credit cards that he is paying that is his mum's debt, he stupidly transferred £9k to her bank account when she had court fees to pay and she said she would pay him back within a couple of months but so far it's been about 2 years nearly and he's still paying it every month. Stupid woman was meant to be selling one of her houses to pay debts off but is still dithering (cause of many arguments in our house as I'm getting more and more into debt as he can't help me pay my bills as he's paying hers).

His argument is that he gives me £100 a month so what am I complaining about, I told him that my interest alone is about £3-400 a month so £100 doesn't do much. He's only started giving me the £100 since April/May last year.

Wow well done, are you a business seller, or is it your stuff you don't want anymore?

  • Alright everyone :)

I seem to have lost my ebay mojo - I know it'll only take a couple of hours to list 10 or so things but I just can't be bothered  It's been a tough week this week so that hasn't helped either - only got £47 back from the pet insurance against a vet bill of £192, the sky box went pop so we have to pay £20 for a new one and had to spend £15 on an ariel cos the roof ariel doesn't work so we could have telly in the meantime.

How do you get yourself back into the ebay swing of things when you can't be bothered?

well sparkle ... i had lost my ebay sparkle too - felt right down in dumps i did! then i realised if i want to make some money i need to list... so i forced myself to do some easy bits, all in the same category just to start off slowly and 40 items later... well im back on track with some nice watchers/questions and bids!

so take one step, sort out some easy to list items and try it out! xx

l'm not a business seller l just found a niche in the market for hard to find fabrics so l source them from all over the world and then resell to quilters and crafters. It could bomb at any time but l'll stay with it as long as l can.
l do sell things l no longer want but via my husbands ebay account - he has a good eye for old thing ie 70/80's items that will sell.- l don't count these in my total.

  • I am a bit demotivated too, have done a few listings today and just waiting for 2 DD upstairs to stop running about and go to sleep and DD3 to go to sleep and then will take some more photos ready for tomorrow.

I currently have 106 Personal items and 84 Business items listed. Got some more stock coming on Tuesday so am looking forward to that. Was doing OK on my swim suits until I put them all in one BIN (1 listing with lots of various sizes) but have not sold any recently, so will be changing them back when it finishes.
