Thanks

OH OH OH have just found what sells really well and am bursting to tell but i know i cant will have to text my sis in the morning (she'll love me for that). I've just spent the last 3 hrs surfing and at last i think i have maybe found something that seems to shift, did lots of checks and the majority have sold some items listed have all sold when i've checked the completed listings. Not high value items but if i throw in 20 or so a week and sell them at a profit of a £ that'll do me. God i wish i could share it i'm so excited (yes over a profit of a £ an item sad i know), will keep you updated
OH YOU TEASER, going to have to do some research too;)
Hope the headache soon goes mrscmr, gives us all a chance to catch up, although no way can I match your lists;)
Welcome all newbies, you will find loads of support here I know I have have snce I joined last July.
My bids so far are up to £41 so well pleased and look as though I am on target for this month:T0 -
Where is everyone?
It's a miserable day here and I decided to enter the eBay room with laptop and prepare some listings on the spot - bad idea as everything seems to have been discturbed by the children so have now been here 3 hours and have done 2
Opened DS3s wardrobe to find a whole shelf of nappy liners - there's enough in there to last him until he's an adult; I guess they were either on special offer or I had a post-baby mad moment and miscalculated. I very nearly took half of them out to list but realised that I will never get anything sorted if I flit about so have returned to eBay room to sort out toys.
At m-i-ls tomorrow for lunch so have to get photos done in the morning. Fingers crossed there will be some natural light to do this. Can't wait for the spring now
Will pop back later and add the newbies onto the list. There's lots of us so I hope people are listing whilst the motivation is there!Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

No, you decide if you want a target and if you want to have a signature to go with it...

Im new to this ebay selling to make a profit so im wondering if i could ask some questions.
These may seem silly to some of you but id appreciate any advise.
Are you just selling stuff you have at home?? Do you really make any money on clothes???
Do you relist an item that hasnt sold ??
Im wondering if its really wort putting on clothes because they sell for next to nothing then you have your listing cost, postage and paypal charges.
I really want to give this a go and have listed 20 items so far.Nov 2010 :1st win beauty box set of 3 worth £40 and a cushelle koala

Are you just selling stuff you have at home?? Do you really make any money on clothes??? I'm selling stuff I have at home. I make quite good money on clothes. My style is indie / alternative and I find clothes like this sell a lot better than any "normal" / work / fashion clothes I list. I find old gig / band tshirts sell really well so if you have any like this then get them listed!
Do you relist an item that hasnt sold ?? I think you can get free relisting if your item doesn't sell but I'm quite new to ebay selling myself so I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will advise you.
Im wondering if its really wort putting on clothes because they sell for next to nothing then you have your listing cost, postage and paypal charges. Have a look at your ebay fees page to work out how much that'll cost you. You can charge for postage seperately so that won't come out of your profit. You can work out your postage with some kitchen scales and there is a useful pdf of postage prices on the royal mail website.
I really want to give this a go and have listed 20 items so far. Well done!0 -
16 items listed and one has a bid lol. Still more to go on. I don't know how some of you with 100's do it!0
