There will be less guests than planned. Anyway to the point, I have diced 4 large chicken breasts and they are marinating in a curry and yoghurt mix and are in the fridge.
Can I freeze a portion of this?

I would. Stick it in a plastic bag so you don't lose any of the marinade, and freeze it quickly.

I would cook the whole lot and then freeze the leftovers, you'll find it handier that way.

no dont freeze any until its cooked! because its been marinading any bacteria now need to be cooked off! freezing wont always kill them. better to cook it all then freeze the leftovers - you never know - you may not have any it sounds lush!
