Hiya
A few years back I knew a lady who was a courier for home shopping catlogues like Kays, Empire, etc.
I've looked on the websites of the companies but can't find any careers links on them.
How would one enquire about becoming a courier with catalogue?
Thanks.

I used to work for one of the couriers, can't for the life of me remember what they were called, but they had an advert in the local paper at the time. It is very difficult to get a 'round' and i had 2 weeks holiday cover and then got told I would be put on a waiting list for when something came up in my area, it never did. On the plus side I did get paid £250 for the 2 weeks, although they are usually done self employed, so you would need to factor this in.Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0

Hello, I spent 2 years working as a courier for DHL @Home. I used my own car and it worked around having a newborn baby, & doing the school run. I didnt earn a fortune but enough to pay some bills. DHL, or TNT are websites to check. Also, I spent a couple of weekend delivering the Yellow pages!Starting Debt £23,789.68:j Total paid in to date £2446.45:jTotal Remaining Debt £21343.23:j0

Redcats is one company that I worked for - ultimately I probably lost money as it barely paid for the car use but got a bit of pin money I guess. Two tips - try to get the parcels delivered in person so evenings are better which also avoid peak travel times and encourage them to return the parcels via you as it earns extra points; and know your routes as it saves wasting fuel looking around.0
