asda dundonald lots of 31/12 reductions

Just home from asda dundonald and there is so much fruit, veg, meat, party food, bread and ready meals etc reduced to half price and lower. I would say there is so much it will never all sell and before closing time it will be reduced to their usual 10 - 50p if anyone was passing or close. Was in asda bangor earlier in the week and also had lots there, Assistant said they have overstocked and folks arent buying so much.

I called in, it was absolute chaos. Did get some wine at £2 a bottle, normally £8 so was well chuffed. The staff were busy reducing everyhting fresh in sight.
