Borrowing help £1.5k-£2k

Options
About me:
i am 20 yrs old, 21 in april! i am wanting to borrow around 1.5k-2k so i can buy a new car slightly sooner than if i was to save the rest!!

i would be able to pay it off quick enough, atleast within a year anyways!! what would be my best option to get this kind of money without paying large interest rates!

my bank Santander changes their loan age to 21 recently so i can get a loan with them end of april but i dont want to wait that long!

would a loan or a credit card be my best option, does anybody know an exact credit card to go with as i have noticed they all differ and i dont really understand this balance transfer etc!!

i simply want to borrow around £1.5k to pay it off within 1 year with as little interest as possible!

i work full time and am not a student!!!

You'd do well to try one of the MBNA cards... 0% for a year, flexible repayments and no interest (just a 3% fee for shunting the cash into your current account). Oh, and don't pick an american express... ;)

I'm not sure why you got declined for a loan - might be best to check your credit file at experian before you apply for anything.

It might be worth researching the cost of insuring the vehicle before applying for a loan to buy one.
