sour milk,,do i need to strain it?

i'm making sourdough bread today,,rachel allen receipe,,she suggested adding half a lemon to warm milk and leave overnight,,i have done that so do i need to strain it now or just chuck it all in??hope this is in the right place:D

    Are you sure you mean sourdough bread? Sounds more like soda bread to me:)

    I made mine with yogurt, as per recipe

    As I didn't have butter milk, but I will do your lemon juice & milk trick next time. Far cheaper than using yogurt too;) & handier, you always have milk & a bit of jif:D

    No, don't strain it - just chuck it all in. The lumps are there because the lemon juice has caused the milk to separate but it's all basically milk (and of course a little lemon juice....).
