Hi, does anyone know of any codes to allow free searches of this history site? A different site mentioned that there are codes inside the Family History Magazine, but I can't find one locally.
If you know of any other, especially for Ancestry.com that would be excellent. I never fail to be amazed at the knowledge available out there, so I await responses with interest and anticipation!!!!!
Thanks a lot chucks!

You can get 14 days free with Ancestry, but you must cancel your card details with them in this time or you will incur a charge. It works out at about £70 a year.
Best thing to do is to sign up for your 14 days when you know you will have maximum time available for research. If you work, book some time off so you can be sure to maximise your use of the free facility.Mortgage at outset (May 2004): £80,000
Mortgage now (October 2007): £58,000
Original mortgage-free date: May 2024
Expected mortgage-free date: December 2014
Projected interest saving: £21,1000 -
Hi, thanks for the info, I did think about trying it out, but I remember reading something somewhere about how ancestry.com continued taking money after the free trial, regardless of the fact that they had notified them they didnt want to continue. I think I might try it later on, when I have more free time, that way I could try and get all of it done during the free trial period. Thanks anyway!:hello:  please play nicely children !0

I don't know if this is just in Kent Libraries, but you can use the Ancestry.com web site for free.
You need to be a library member and have a PIN
In the library logon to
ancestrylibrary.proquest.com
don't forget to take floppy disc to record information as I found the set up only lets you email 5 copies to your home pc0
