I got one today at the Fort S/S in Glasgow , there were some more in Glasgow at Stockwell St. the supplied black cartridge came up as empty , but luckily the spare black one was fine and the printer is ok , any ideas ? on what is the best way to get the faulty cartridge replaced i.e HP help or Argos .

IMO this isn't that great a deal when you consider cartridge costs.

You can get an Epson SX515 for just over 50 pounds which looks equivalent. And you can get a set of colour and black carts for about a fiver.

Have I overlooked something here?

Thanks for the info on the prices, much appreciated. The original cartridges seem ok-ish in price, does anyone know where a good place to check the price of compatible inks from?
