As today is my "final" lighbulb moment, it would be a very bad start if I spent anything. £0.00 so far and it's very unlikey to change!

£19.65 on BBQ stuff for tonight.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

    A dear one today:

Birthday present for grandma - £10
    lunch out £4
    parking £1.40
    Wine £15
    Jiffy Bags £2
Supermarket £33.34 includes a bit extra as needed to buy a pudding bowl and chocolate buttons to make a hedgehog cake for brother - as a well done on new job. Cheaper than a bottle of JD though. Also stocked up on essentials for a store cupboard challenge for this month.
The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese
  • £12.70 in total, which is not bad considering what I got;

    Veg 1.30
    Birthday pressies 6.00
    3 books 1.40
dress from charity shop (bit of a "do" coming up & nothing appropriate to wear) 4.00

So came home with an upmarket carrier bag (courtesy of charity shop) containing a posh frock, and my rucksack full of other stuff for under £13 :j

    Have a good weekend everyone!

I'm in profit! I had to take my Gran shopping today (Dad usually takes her but he just had a knee replacement) and she bought me some cakes and gave me a tenner petrol money (there really is no point arguing with her)!:p

I also did a mystery shop on my way home and earned a bit.:T

The travelling didn't cost me anything because Dad filled up his car before he went into hospital so I can use it for ferrying people round in while he is out of action.:A

    A successful day!:T :T

The tenner is going straight into my coffee jar which is my unofficial holiday fund.... 7 weeks and counting!:j :j :j
