Didnt get any £2 so I cheated....and put 2 £1 coins in instead...that's not a bad thing though is it?

I've tried this on someone else's suggestion and all I can say is it'd take me so long that £2 coins would probably not be legal tender when I'd finished!

I might have to investigate drilling a hole in the base (and trying not to crack the rest of it). Does seem slightly *mean* though...the whole point of these is to smash them . Maybe I'll just do that and buy a new one with some of the proceeds.

I got a flathead screwdriver & hammer and made the slot a bit bigger so they fall out

Been away since Sunday, got back this morning, had 6 x £2 coins in my purse so have added these to my £2 sealed pot, will open it when it's full.
