    Hi

Can I rejoin please? Haven't saved any £2 coins for a while. I got 5 today in various shops, I have a sealed pot that I got in Poundland so am going to label that up and put them in there and then when it is half/nearly full (depends how much will power I have to wait), then they will go towards a debt.

    None this week :(
Consoled myself because I put a single £5 note in the tin :)
these seem to be almost as rare as the shiney round things around here:D

  • My OH is well and truly a member of the £2 savers club now! I'm not sure how many we've had this week but it's been about 4. I think we have about £40 in the pot now :)

Went out for lunch on a mystery shop, and was given three in my change, then when I got home I was given two more to cover the extra cost of the meal too. All safely rattling around in my tin now, def beginning to feel quite heavy too now.

I had 5, but just used one towards a Pizza. Have got a sealed tin so will put them in there so I can't be tempted to use them again.

I had 5, but just used one

I have palpitations if I have to use one! I've spent ONE solitary two pound coin since I started saving them, and that was for the bus (which round here only accepts correct change). At the time, it was inevitable and neccessary - but I still feel the pain :rotfl:

I got two today - so my new total is £172!
