I thought I should join this thread since I'd been lurking for a bit and got upset the other day that I had to give a colleague a £2 coin in change for a sandwich I'd got for him as I didn't have 2 x £1 coins to swap it with!

I have 5 lovely £2 coins so far in a little money box on the mantlepiece. I plan to keep saving them until I've paid off all my debts (hopefully end of this year) then I'm going to treat myself to something nice with them

I would also like to join, I have a terramundi pot so my wish of being able to go on a guilt free shopping spree is on! Currently at £30 on it so I'm just plying away hoping to reach a magical £400!

I'm doing it for the 3rd year in a row now. It pays for my car tax. A boring, but necessary expense! Having my £80-£100 saved, really takes the edge off the "ouch!" factor!

Hi Everyone, another for me which I obtained yesterday and has now left me with no money

I have chosen my short break so have to send the deposit/bond this week (after payday) OH is paying half for the deposit:T booked for October so should have plenty of £2 coins to pay for the holiday and spending money
