welcome waltzingmatilda - this is a great thread, it's amazing how quickly those little coins build up to a nice tidy sum!0

Paid for a £4 exercise calss with a £20 note - the lady was thanking me for a note as it means she can out it into bank as she ends up spending the coins. I eyed up her change bag and told her she could pay my change in £2 coins saving her the £5 and £10 note. She was delighted and I was delighted. Another £16 into the pot making it £170!!! Yippee! :j0

I think that someone must have paid some into the bank as have got £10 worth of them over the weekend. all went into the pot last night. :jMARCH £62.38/2500

Due to a disaterous year this year my terramundi got broken in to a few months ago. Wasn't too bad as I had £300 of them stashed away in there.
I will be doing this again next year and it's good to see so many that have joined and are still joining.
Buffy - If you aren't running this thread next year, I'll happily take over again as I enjoyed doing it last time.
Well done everyone.
Happy saving
