if you follow the tips on this board, you will probably find £350 more than enough. My total grocery bill for myself, teen daughter and two spolit cats is around £90 per month. We often feed friends too.

I did this today as well..........isn't it ridiculous just how much you can have in the cupboards/freezer......and still do a full shop without realising what you've got....:o

It was a useful excercise.........I should think my next shop will be much reduced:D ...............and given that a fair amount of freezer stuff needs using pretty quickly, thats the meals sorted for the next 2 weeks!

A challenge for you. See how long you can go withoout visiting a shop!

I tried this earlier in the year and found I didn't shop for a month except for fresh veg. Admittedly I have milk delivered but it was quite a challenge to see how long I could put off shopping.

A tip I saw on here: If you buy 2 pt bottles of milk, get a 6pt and decan it into 2pt containers and then freeze the surplus.

Of course you will need to make some room in the freezer first lol

Good luck with your plan and if you need inspiration for meals from strange ingredient there a roads of them on here!

I actually buy the 1 pint bottles of milk and freeze them so they could be topped up better and sit upright in an upright freezer no problem.
Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j
