Paragon Loan - forged loan agreement

Hi I wonder if anyone can give me good advice on a paragon loan. They are a pain in my behind.
I took out a loan with Paragon in 1993. I borrowed £3000.00 and agreed to pay £150.00 per month. I paid this amount for about 3/4 of the term and then fell into difficulties. I made reduced payments for many years.
I have in total paid back about £7500.00, but they say I still owe a further £1200.00. I have an agreement to pay them £5.00 per month which I pay reluctantly.
However a couple of months ago, I received a letter from a their Solicitors asking for more money each month. I wrote to Paragon asking for a copy of the original loan agreement signed form.
However they sent me a forged document - it had quite clearly been forged as they had my first name wrong?? I wrote back advising that the document had been forged and also wrote to the solicitors asking for their advice.
I then received a letter from Xcel - a mediation company that visit your home, to make sure I am paying what I can afford. I wrote to them and advised them of the situation, asking for advice.
To date I have been ignored by all 3 companies?
Where do I stand? Can I ask them to write debt off? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jacqui

if forged write by recorded del to the company, request it follow the complaints process then goto the fso and report the fraud.0

Would fraud not be a matter for the police?0

When you say 'forged' are you sure you don't mean 'reconstructed' which is actually perfectly legal?
Did you actually sign a loan agreement back in 1993?0 -
Hi - I signed it,but the document has been altered. They have obviously misplaced the document? Made a new one and copied my signature?? Not sure - but they have my first name is different. Completely different - same initial but wrong name??0

Reconstructing, Yes.... Signing on your behalf, No!!
In my opinion, a clear fraud.
Where did the OP say that the copy had been signed on their behalf in their first post, I must have missed it.:rolleyes:hi
what do you mean by "reconstructing" ?

This is the latest legal case from which to take guidance from.
Paragraphs 53(6) & 234(1) are particularly relevant to the point I was making.0 -
Further to the above, assuming they have tried to copy your signature, I have no idea what they were hoping to acheive, because they have no obligation to provide a signed copy anyway, and I don't see how this changes the fact that an original agreement was signed way back in 1993.0
