mortgage account fee

hi
im just about to leave Abbey mortgages and i have to pay £225.00 fee which they call an account fee for the paperwork is this something that i can claim for unlawfull charges? in old posts they rec that the paperwork fee should be about £50.00

With your annual mortgage statement it is highly likely that a revised tarif of account charges would have been sent. At the time you probably ignored it as being of no interest.
So in no way unlawful.0
