I was looking last year and could not find a cheap one with recordable facility - they tend to be in the more expensive range - I am so glad I got my Bug when I did. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Just found this one, also from M&S. Not recordable though and offer ends tomorrow apparently.
M&S Wi-Fi Radio MX-200 - Get £44.50 off when you buy a M&S Wi-Fi Radio
MX-200(T043329). Discount applies at checkout. Price should come to about £46.10 after discount.0 -

Thanks for all your helpful replies. I find it odd you cant get a cheapie recordable radio, I'm sure you could record with the old radio cassete players years ago. I did see a portable recordable player calles an oomo? but it looks expensive. Maybe the manufacturers are too scared of the pirate industry these days, I only want to record the odd radio prog I can get podcasts for the archers ect but not everything is on podcasts. Thanks to all anyway”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

Can't you listen to The Archers on iPlayer?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search/?q=the%20archers
The only thing here is you'll need speakers/headphones and have your laptop on to listen. If that's a problem that is.
Bit tricky if you can’t get other podcasts though.0
