£1250+VAT! Plumber isnt a bad job then. Good luck on finding that extra £12.50 a day then!

I hadn't quite thought about it like that £12.50 (+VAT) a day in addition to what I've already pledged.
It's looking difficult - well nigh impossible - perhaps I'd better stick with the original target otherwise I'll become completely despondent

I've thought of a few more things to give up

my evening glass (bottle) of wine - perhaps just make it weekly

my nails - that £19 per fortnight would look better on my credit card bill than on the end of my finger nails

    my £2 per week lottery

I'll have a think of a few more

  • Hiya guys,

not sure if I read it on here but seems a good place to ask?
I read somewhere about setting up a spreadsheet which calculates the daily interest so when you pay off an extra amount you can see the amount of interest decrease??? Does anyone have this spreadsheet please?
I really need this to motivate me to make sure that I pay the extra off- I really really hate interest, especially at 30%
Pay off as much as you can in 2011: £780/£8000
    Vouchers through surveys/shopandscan: £10/£250
    Ebay/Paypal target for 2011: £109/£1000
  • I've got one I set up myself based on the mortgage daily interest sheet -it's not 100% accurate - my figures on statement date differ slightly from the card companies, mind you I haven't been using it long enough to really test it

I work on the theory that even if it is slightly wrong then it is consistently slightly wrong and as long as the figure is heading down that's the most important.

IM me your e mail address and I'll send it to you, if you do come across a better one can you send it to me?

I've recently worked out that with the mortgage and cards I am paying over £50 per day interest:eek::eek:
